We've cleaned and counted up…and whoa-the FIGMENT Geelong 2014 Launch party was an awesome display if the creativity, talent, motivation and mutual support of Geelong’s art scene!
AND we raised $410.40 for next year’s event!!

The Exhibiting Artists!!! Thanks to Mike Mclean, Rachel Burke, Dare, Miriam and Dez, Phil Allen and John Heritage, Meghan Stewart-Snoad, Chris Williams and Marita Batna and Ingrid Petterson for bringing displays of their FIGMENT Geelong 2013 event artwork to the party and Ingrid Petterson for creating a new piece for the event!
The Donating Artists!!! Hannah Sullivan, Andy Craddock, Toby De Lorenzo, Laine Fraser, Peta Brown, Joss Davie, Matt Dunne, Haley Austin Hunt, Phil Hunt, Cara Littley and Rachel Burke all donated increidble examples of their time and talent to our art auction/raffle/sale.
The Bands!!! MURDENA and their soulful blues and roots music was awesome to experience, GENGHIS CAN’T SWIM ’s catchy pop rock and top fashion gave the gig a decidedly designer flair and CITY WOLVES rocked and popped the crowd.
The DJs!!! KRIT kept the party going all night with short, sharp sets of his quintessential style of surprising and impossible to sit still to beats. FIBONASTI brought an awesome, dark, smooth and totally Burning Man vibe to the room with his complex killer rhythms and EDDIE EXAMPLE closed the night out with a downright dirty dance party/roller disco set that couldn’t be ignored.
and of course the FIGMENT Geelong team members (!!) who all donated their love and talent to make the Launch party a killer start to the next season of FIGMENT Geelong!
