Thank you to the amazing 12 volunteers who represented FIGMENT at the Golden Plains music festival in Meredith during the Labour Day weekend.
It was easy to spot our camp with our colourful banners and giant cat’s head where we could easily see the stage, and hear the tunes cranking.
We got to see Courtney Barnett, Something for Kate, The Bennies, First Aid Kit, and the one and only Village People!
Although it wasn’t all fun and games, and there was a heap of that! FIGMENT’s presence in the festival was also for good old-fashioned work and fundraising.
The great effort and hard work put in by the team during and after the festival was amazing. The grand total raised from the weekend was $2,857.50.
Well done everyone involved! FIGMENT Geelong is very grateful for your awesome contribution, so again massive THANK YOU to you all.
FIGMENT Geelong is a grassroots effort, organized and run entirely by really funny, attractive and talented volunteers who love Geelong and making magic happen.
Much love
