Did you get it? The cat.. the missing cat.. it was missing because... it was turning into something else... a Butterfly/FigmentFly! (Check out the event photos to see what we mean!)
This sneaky mascot play was to emphasize that FIGMENT has been growing as an organization and a community for the past three years, but now is the time for us to metamorphosize into something else more Geelong-centric and relevant and reflective of our community and it's creative needs and capacities.
So what will this new entity be? What will we do? We will still focus on producing platforms for creative expressions and experimentation and we will be changing our previously restrictive policies to allow us to work with corporate sponsors and more funding opportunities.
